Restoring what was taken,
A month ago, I was still wrestling with lustful desires and the pull of what I know didn’t honor God. I saw the parts of my heart that once reflected a Jezebel spirit. I believe a lot of the struggles I’ve had was due to my body being hurt and taken advantage of in ways I didn’t fully process before. God is healing those places in me. What was taken and broken is being restored.
I’m learning that my worth isn’t tied to how someone treated my body, and my heart is being made new as I walk closer to Christ. God has been patiently changing me. Today, I feel my heart shifting. I don’t want what I used to want. I only want to desire Christ, walk in purity, and live in the freedom He is giving me. It’s honestly amazing how the work of the Holy Spirit begins to move when you commit to reading your Bible and seeking Jesus daily. What once felt impossible to change starts shifting from the inside out.
I’m learning that transformation doesn’t come from my strength, it comes from staying close to Jesus.
